  ABOUT US
We are open to all types of businesses from gift shops, plumbers, builders, financiers, architects and manufacturers to all those connected with the tourism industry, something which is of paramount importance in our community.

 

AIMS
To represent the views of the business community and all those who trade in the Bude and Stratton area of North Cornwall.

To offer a single voice for our local businesses.

To ensure that the interests of our businesses are protected and have the commercial and general interests of Bude & Stratton at the heart of its agenda.

 

MEETINGS
We are an active organisation, generally meeting on the 1st Tuesday of every month at The Falcon Hotel at 7.30pm and all new members are welcome.

Items on our current agenda include planning issues, crime prevention and fundraising needed to enhance the image of Bude & Stratton, in the regional and national business environment.

Communication is regularly maintained with the Town, District and County Councils to ensure that Bude & Area Chamber of Commerce best interests remain at the fore front of any discussion involving our local community.

 

FUTURE PLANS
Our current agenda, includes the introduction of a privilege card for our members, the expansion of our 'Shopwatch' scheme and proposals for a trade exhibition involving all our local trades and industries.
